Jio Summer Surprise offer still available for a few days before it’s discontinued

Jio Summer Surprise offer still available for a few days before it’s discontinued

Yesterday, Reliance Jio announced that it would be withdrawing its “Jio Summer Surprise” promotional offer after the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) advised it to do so. The original press release mentioned that the offer would be discontinued as soon as “operationally feasible”.

Now Jio’s website has been updated with a banner saying that Prime members still have a few more days to avail the Summer Surprise offer. The banner adds that the subscribers who avail the offer before its discontinuation will be eligible for three months of complimentary services on the special recharge of Rs 303 or higher.

We were able to recharge our Jio number with the Rs 303 plan, and received a confirmation that our Summer Surprise offer would begin on April 16th, the day Jio’s free services are slated to be discontinued. Under the offer, Jio users are entitled to get three months of free data, with the pack being charged only in the month of July. You can sign up for the Summer Surprise offer on the MyJio app or Jio website. Jio hasn’t clarified when exactly the offer is being discontinued, so we advise you to recharge at the earliest.
